Data-Driven Project Risk Management Performance Evaluation

This funded research project develops evidence-based ways to evaluate risk-management performance in major transportation projects.

Technical innovation

The work derives data-driven metrics from historical transportation-project annual reports to identify the types of risk encountered by project managers and evaluate how those risks are managed over time.

Practical insight

The resulting measures help agencies assess project-management performance consistently and translate lessons from prior projects into more informed risk-management practice.
